Pamela Farber was born in Toronto and moved north of Kingston to a rural farming community not long after. Eighteen years later found herself traveling back to study at the Ontario College of Art & Design to achieve her Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Drawing & Painting studies. Her great passion for design was realized after her first year at the university, when she ventured back home to Kingston for the Womens Art Festival where she received overwhelming success with her jewellery. In the following months Ophelia Jewellery became an explosive collection of brilliant bold colour combinations and elegant wearable creations that would soon capture the eyes of women & young ladies on an international level.

Come fall of 2005, Ophelia had begun participating in collaborative works with local Toronto fashion designers supplying jewellery for photo shoots and promotional mediums. By the summer of 2006, Ophelia found great opportunities in both Toronto and Kingston areas which includes the Downsview Park Springfest, the Creative Arts Program exhibitions and the Lennox & Addington Marketsquare Festival to name a few.

In September of 2006, Ophelia branched out into free-standing stores and online boutiques in major areas such as New Jersey, New York, Oregon, California, Guelph, Calgary, Vancouver and Lethbridge to name a few. Ophelia's success continues to grow and expand as it is featured in stores across the globe and gracing the necks of beautiful women everywhere.
